Quick Block Step by Step Instructions

Preparation: Trim the Sound Digit of the claw as flat as possible. Clean bottom of digit, thoroughly removing all loose or stained claw material. Application areamust be dry.

1. If using the 250 ml Quick Block© cartridge, place cartridge into standard caulking gun. If

2. Remove cap and attach mixing tip. Pump out a small amount of adhesive until both components flow as discarding a small portion of adhesive first insures proper mixin
|

3. Apply Quick Block© PU to wooden block or HOOF-it® Boot Block© and apply immediately to well prepared, sound digit.
|
|||
4. Press firmly for 30 seconds.
|
|||
5. Cow is ready for release in 2 to 3 minutes depending on outside temperature. Mixing tipmay be left on tube until next use.

Acrylic Blocking Step by Step Directions
Acrylic Adhesive for Wood, Rubber or Plastic Blocks / Preparation: Trim the sound digit of the claw as flat as possible.Clean bottom of digit thoroughly removing all loose or stained claw material. Application area must be dry.

1. Trim and treat the claw according to your normal protocol. The HOOF-it® block is applied to the healthy claw of the affected foot.
|

2. Poor the liquid into the HOOF-it® boot up to the measuring line, approximately 15 ml. Add approximately 30 g of the powder for a 2:1 ratio, then mix into a paste with the included spatula.
|
||
3. Place the wooden block into the plastic boot so the toe of the block touches the toe of the boot and the block and boot together resemble a slipper.
|
||
4. Press the block down into the paste and to the bottom of the claw until it is firmly attached.
|
||
5.Spread the remaining paste thickly and evenly onto the top of the wooden block.
|
||
| 6. Press the cow's healthy claw onto the wooden block until the mixture hardens (approximately 2 - 3 minutes)and the block is glued to the claw. |
